This whole thing was created out of pure self-interest! If you’re in the world of web development, there’s tons of internet buzz every day. It’s impossible to stay up to date on every topic, but you don’t want to be left behind either. And many newsletters out in the wild either focus too much on one topic, or simply don’t cover enough interesting topics.

There is no need for half-long (or short?) summaries of the articles, usually the teaser already helps to determine whether an article is interesting or not. And that’s exactly the concept of weeklyfoo: interesting articles, new tools, design topics and fun. And all without a lot of frills.
